The Malaysian Librarians Association (PPM), also known as the Librarians Association of Malaysia, is the national professional body representing librarians and information professionals in Malaysia. This organization was established in 1955, originally known as the Malayan Library Group. Since its inception, PPM has played a vital role in the development of libraries and the library profession in Malaysia.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Malaysian Librarians Association (PPM) is an important annual agenda to present activity reports, financial reports, and discuss arising issues related to the management and direction of the association. The AGM also serves as a platform for members to voice their opinions and suggestions for improvements.
To enrich the program content, a Library Forum will also be organized as a platform for knowledge sharing and professional insights in the field of librarianship.
